The Measures of Content Knowledge for Teaching Mathematics RETA project develops and uses measures for evaluating the effectiveness of programs and projects designed to improve teachers' content knowledge for teaching mathematics.
We are hosting a workshop on June 18 at University of Michigan School of Education for all MSPs wishing to use our measures to evaluate teacher learning of content knowledge for teaching mathematics.
This workshop prepares projects to use LMT's measures of mathematical knowledge for teaching. At this workshop, we will describe the theoretical and practical work of item development, item scaling and test construction, and what we have learned from using measures with teachers.
